Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on www.anpai.it, including necessary storage and Meta Pixel, a third-party service in the Marketing category. Optional tools may be enabled only after the user gives consent.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files stored by the browser. LocalStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB keep information on the device in different ways. For clarity, this policy covers all of these technologies.

Your first-visit choice

The banner and preference panel show the categories available on the page you visit. When optional tools are present, you can refuse them, customise your choice or accept them. Closing the banner means continuing with necessary storage only and does not authorise Meta Pixel.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookies button in the lower corner of every page. Refusing Marketing does not prevent access to content.

Every item below is technical. Editorial storage appears only in the restricted editorial area, and assessment storage only on the AI Act assessment page.

Optional categories

Preferences: not in use.
Analytics: not in use; no separate analytics service is installed.
Marketing: includes Meta Pixel, described below. Campaign measurement through the Pixel belongs to this category and requires Marketing consent.

Third-party cookies and tools: Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel is a service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited to measure visits and conversions from Facebook and Instagram campaigns and create audiences for relevant ads, including remarketing. When enabled with Marketing consent, it may send Meta information about visited pages and browsing events, IP address, browser characteristics and cookie identifiers. Meta may associate this information with information already available on its services.

The main Pixel cookies are listed below. Although associated with a third-party service, _fbp and _fbc may be stored on this website’s domain as first-party cookies. Browser settings or deletion by the user may shorten their lifetime.
_fbp

Meta Pixel cookie that identifies the browser for campaign measurement and advertising purposes. Requires Marketing consent.

Meta Pixel cookie that stores the identifier of a click on a Meta link, when present in the URL (fbclid), to attribute visits and conversions to the campaign. Requires Marketing consent.

For details about Meta cookies, data use and possible transfers outside the European Economic Area, see the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Cookies Policy. Withdrawing consent in the ANPAI panel prevents subsequent activation of Marketing tools; use browser settings to remove cookies already stored.

WhatsApp and external links

The website does not embed a WhatsApp widget and does not contact WhatsApp during ordinary browsing. When a user voluntarily selects a contact or assessment-send button, the browser opens WhatsApp with a prepared message; from that point, the service is governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. Form data is not stored by this website before that step.

Controlling or deleting stored data

In addition to the ANPAI panel, browser settings let users inspect, block or remove cookies and local storage. Removing necessary storage may end an editorial session, reset the questionnaire or delete a local draft, but it does not prevent access to public pages.

Approach

The system applies data protection by default: optional categories start disabled, choices are category-specific and withdrawal remains available. The design follows the Italian Data Protection Authority’s cookie guidance.
